If the Hirer is in any doubt as to the meaning of the following, a representative from Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd should immediately be consulted.
THE HIRER will, during the period of the hiring, be responsible for the supervision of the equipment, its care, safety from damage however slight of any sort, and the behaviour of all persons of all ages using the equipment whatever their capacity, including proper supervision of children to ensure children under school age use the equipment separately to older children or adults.
Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd hold full public liability insurance however if you are hiring an inflatable and not having it staffed/manned by Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd you should make your own provisions regarding insurance.
MAXIMUM AGE allowed to use the equipment will be instructed on hire, failure to observe this limit at any time during the hire period will render the hirer liable for associated repair costs.
THE HIRER shall not use the equipment for any purpose other than that described in the hiring agreement and shall not sub-hire or use the equipment or allow the equipment to be not used for any unlawful purpose or in any unlawful way.
The hirer should not allow anyone onto the equipment………
1…..Wearing shoes,
2…..With food or drink, as neither are to be taken onto, or consumed on the equipment.
3…..Carrying sharp objects,
4…..With Key-rings,
5…..With metal studded clothing or any other similar items which could cause damage to others or the
Equipment.
6…..Wearing Spectacles
7…..No Party Poppers, Coloured streamers or Silly string should be taken, thrown or sprayed onto the equipment, these materials permanently stain the material and the hirer will be liable to compensate Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd in the event of damage.
8…. No Animals/Pets allowed on the Inflatable at any time.
THE HIRER shall be deemed to have inspected the equipment (Accessories and trailer(s) if supplied) and to have agreed that it is supplied in good condition unless he/she brings to the attention of Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd when it is set up and checked by the hirer when coming into possession of the equipment any faults noted by the Hirer.
THE HIRE PERIOD unless otherwise agreed is from delivery until the time agreed and written on the contract or after at the discretion of Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd any obstruction by the hirer or their guests causing unnecessary delay will be charged at £35 per hour or part of, this applies to although not limited to, obstruction by individuals or vehicles.
CANCELLATION, it may at times be necessary to cancel a booking either by Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd or by the hirer themselves. Should the hirer require to cancel a booking, it should be done so as soon as possible. If the cancellation is due to bad weather then this can be done up to 8am on the morning of the booking and there will be no cancellation fee, however, if it is not cancelled by 8am on the day, the full amount will become payable.
If cancellation of a unit is required for any other reason, we require one week’s notice (7 days) or the full amount of the booking may become payable. For multi hire (where more than one unit has been booked) we request at least 2 weeks’ notice, (14 days) or the full amount of the booking may become payable.
Where a cancellation is made by us due to the required unit being unavailable, an alternative will be offered at no extra charge.
For safety reasons it may also be necessary for us to cancel a booking due to bad weather, we cannot install an inflatable outside when winds are expected to reach gusts of over 24mph.
PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE is excluded in its entirety following any claim or injury to any third party or employee whether directly or indirectly related to the use of drugs and/or alcohol. Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd excludes any liability for injury loss or damage caused to any person using the equipment contrary to the terms and conditions of this contract.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Inflatables should not be used in wind speeds in excess of 24 mph,
Anglesey Bouncy Castle Ltd will not set up in the event of heavy rain or strong wind speeds including gusts over 24mph. We monitor the weather forecast each day (Met office) and reserve the right to cancel due to high winds or adverse weather at any time.
If strong winds or adverse conditions arise after setting up and Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd are staffing the event, we will turn off the inflatables and will not be able to re inflate until it is safe to do so. This will not affect any monies paid or due to Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd for the event/hire.
Even provided that the equipment is used in accordance with the above guidelines and conditions of hire, and those using the inflatables, do so safely, unfortunately, accidents can still happen.
If you are the hirer and Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd has no staff present you will be responsible for the unit and its safe use and as so should follow these rules/instructions below in the event of adverse weather.
It is also strongly recommended that you purchase an Anemometer to take regular wind speed reading to ensure the safe use of the inflatable.

1 – Remove all users intermediately from the inflatable equipment.
2 – Turn off the inflatable at the mains.
3 – Ensure the castle is free of any edges or items that may damage the inflatable whilst the deflation occurs.
4 – Ensure no one tries to enter or walk on top of the inflatable during the deflation process or once full deflated.
6- When operating the inflatable outside, use an anemometer to measure wind conditions at regular intervals, this will have been done by Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd on set up.
7-Visually check for changes in wind direction (such as looking at how the trees are swaying). Make sure you take readings in the direction of the wind.
5 – Continuously assess the weather conditions using the anemometer.
6 – Once you have had no winds, including gusts over 24mph, you may switch the inflatable back on, ensuring no one uses the inflatable until its fully inflated and rigid.
7 – Once the inflatable is being used again, you must review the wind speed every 10-15 minutes for the remained of the hire period.
8 – Repeat this process if wind speeds increase again.

Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd can accept no liability for injuries sustained, or any other loss, howsoever caused, in the absence of the negligence of the company, Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd , or its employees.
As the Equipment will be in the hirer’s possession and control whilst in use rather than Anglesey Bouncy Castle Hire Ltd , any liability for injuries or other losses caused, other than in the circumstances described above, rests with the hirer.
Accordingly, it is strongly recommended that the hirer has adequate public liability insurance covering his or her liability arising from the use of the inflatable.
COLLECTION OF UNITS
BEFORE COLLECTION OF UNITS, WE KINDLY ASK THAT THAT EQUIPMENT IS WIPED DOWN IF DIRTY, AND THAT THERE IS NO FOOD OR DRINK ON THE EQUIPMENT AND NO PARTY POPPERS OR FACE PAINT, A CLEANING CHARGE OF £40.00 MAY BE PAYABLE IF UNITS ARE NOT CLEAN.
